This is an absolutely amazing apartment - I stayed with friends for a get together in Manchester and it felt so luxurious and even better than staying in a boutique hotel. The space is so stylishly furnished and everything is the highest quality with so much attention to detail. It's in a brilliant, central location just a short walk to all the bars and restaurants we wanted to visit and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.
Let me firstly start by saying that the pictures of this apartment do not do it justice! This is an amazing apartment in a great location with top notch owners!
My friends and I booked this apartment as we were attending a reunion party at the Barca Bar and needed something that was not only central, but good value for money. This property is a steal! There are 2 very generous bedrooms with all mod cons and comfy beds. The bathroom has all you want and more, spacious and amazing bath / shower! The living area is a large open plan area. Again spacious and inviting. Nice dining area and raised kitchen area which has ample space and storage including a drinks fridge (which we didn't use but a nice touch).
If security is a thing you worry about, well worry no further. As part of the evening lock up there is a roller shutter that comes down over the main door. This again is a nice touch.
There are a couple of points to consider when making your booking but please do not see these as negatives more like advisories. The apartment is on the top floor which is only accessible by stairs (no lift). The apartment is a stones throw away from the Sacred Trinity Church which joyously rings its bells from about 7am on the Sunday morning. It is intermittent but does happen so if you are a light sleeper this may throw you off. But hey, there are worse ways of being woken up.
There is free parking from midday Saturday onward on Bury Road which is the road next to the apartment (literally 100 yards away). There are a number of official parking providers in the area however I advise you check with them before hand to confirm which ones offer over night parking etc
There are 2 pubs nearby - The Rovers Return and The Black Lion. Also a local pizza / kebab shop across the road which is handy if you want a late night bite.
Keeping the positives coming, the owners are very helpful, courteous, considerate and awesome! It was my first visit to Manchester on public transport and on arriving at Manchester's Piccadilly Station Frida could not be more helpful advising best routes to walk to the apartment also the free metro bus that runs from outside the station dropping you off near the apartment (which is closer to Victoria Station (about 5 min walk)). All of this information was offered to me which was a great help. They can be very flexible and accommodate your needs provided you are upfront from the start. Check in and check out times are spot on (especially check out) as the extra time definitely helps get your head together after a heavy night before.
I really could sing (quite literally) praises for this apartment all day long but I guess I need to bring it to a close.
If you haven't got the idea already, I highly recommend this apartment!
Thanks again for a great stay - We will definitely return x
