My Dad brought me into the Little Museum of Dublin as something to do, I had never heard of it before but as I've a huge interest in history I didn't argue. This museum is beautiful, very comfortable and relaxed compared to others I have been in. The volunteers that are in the various rooms are very knowledgable and easy to talk to. We also did the guided tour and Joan was brilliant. You could spend hours looking at all the photos and articles on the walls. Really recommend it!

Really fun little tour with an excited guide who loves to chat about funny details of history. Lots of memorabilia from standard to scandalous. Supposed to take 30 mins, but if you're lucky the guide will go on a few tangents and it could take longer. Hopefully you get the lovely woman in the red hat.

Look up the schedule ahead of time to make sure you're not waiting too long. Book ahead if you're paying. If you're using a Dublin Pass then drop by 40 mins early to reserve your spot and then go look around at the nice shops on Grafton or take a walk on the Green

Definitely the best €10 I spent in Dublin. The massive variety of artefacts donated by Dubliners was fascinating. The wee tour was amusing, interactive, and very informative. It was great being able to interact with the exhibits and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.
