Myself and my partner went using our Dublin Passes.
Unfortunately the enclosures were really dirty and not looked after...filled with plastic and ribbish that had blown in and not well kept..
We have possibly been spoilt as we live next to Chester Zoo which is one of the best in Europe and is well looked after!
We didn't see one member of staff besides at the entrance whilst we were there which was very odd!
Wouldn't visit again unfortunately

Thank Gemma C

The zoo is very basic. I am American so I am used to a little more. It was a nice walk about but it cost roughly 27 euros each. Once I got in there I dont think it was worth it. If you have children along, they will enjoy it. The animal areas were few and large. One exhibit took up so much space, so there were maybe 8 animal areas to see.

Had a really great time visiting the zoo today. Great to get to see the animals close up. At the same time nice to see the environment kept close to each animals needs.

Went with my mum to see the Lions and got distracted for two hours by the elephants, zebras, giraffes, and two very curious ducks.

my partner and I were doing a trip around ireland, so afte leaving Co.Clare we decided to take a detour and travel home through Dublin and go to the zoo, 29th May 2018. Whilest it was such a beautiful day, we saw very little animals. We genuinely felt like we had just parked up and taken a 3hr walk around a park. Half the animals were not there, and the other half that were there had their backs turned to the glass (which is no ones fault obviously) ,after driving 3 hours and having another 3 hours drive home, it was just disapointing. However on another note, we ate in the kiosk beside the sea loins, which was actually very enjoyable. The only thing that saved the day was the beautiful weather.
