Stayed here for a our 7th anniversary and have to say it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, cosy and affordable.it was a wonderful evening staff were very friendly and couldn’t help enough. Would recommended to anyone thinking if visiting :)
Have driven past this hotel many times saying we'd need to try the restaurant so finally booked for a birthday meal.
I am in a wheelchair so liked the fact it's on the level however there is quite a big lip to get over at the main door, no problem for my Fiance to get Wheelchair over but some might struggle. Staff member opened the double door to assist.
Used the accessible toilet, which was extremely clean and in fact the tiles looked like they sparkled!
Large choice on menu and our starters cheesy garlic bread and garlic mushrooms] were served quickly and everything was fresh, including the side salads - no wilted lettuce for either of us.
Main meals [macaroni with chips and battered chicken coujons were just as nice.
All in all it was a lovely meal at very reasonable prices.
We hired the Leven Suite for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Thank you to James and his wonderful staff for making our celebratory dinner with family and friends such a lovely experience. From start to finish nothing was a bother. Food and service were excellent as always. See you soon for Dinner some time.❤️
Stayed one night on our way to Oban. Great value for money. Staff in all areas, reception, Bar and restaurant were fantastic, welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Room was clean and had everything we needed and bed was really comfortable. Perfectly located on A82. Would definitely stay again. Looks weird from the outside but a gem inside. Food was good too.
Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a golfing trip with friends to the Open at Troon. Perfect base for the golf and Loch Lomond. Great little hotel, very good breakfast at very reasonable price, really friendly staff, comfy bed, very clean and tidy and excellent value overall.
It could do with a bit of a refurb, floor squeaks and windows not double glazed means there is a little road noise, but absolutely not complaining - for the price it is a gem of a place.
