Absolutely lovely hotel - beautiful room, clean and comfortable and a fine breakfast. Beds were super comfortable, rooms at a perfect temperature and excellent location for exploring Paisley with the town centre within a few minutes walk. Thankyou to our delightful hosts!

Good: This hotel is in a really convenient location for Paisley town centre and offers free parking. The hotel communal areas are typical for the period.
We had room 9 which is quite compact but we were only staying one night so worked for what we needed.
Breakfast was good quality food, nicely cooked with great service.

Disappointing : Our room unfortunately felt neglected and under serviced.
Dirty cup and spoon, kettle can't be filled in sink, bathroom door very difficult to close, one spotlight out in bathroom, significant areas of floor tile grout missing in bathroom, hole in ceiling with twin and earth cable in it, main room one light out, one light flickers in and out, door handle to room doesn't turn lock.
Only one set of towels, one biscuit left though we paid for double room.
The reception staff said there's no need to provide a list, they'll get it checked out. I do believe they will.
But since it wasn't a particularly cheap room, I would have preferred the maintenance to be done before I arrived.

Stayed at the ashtree house while attending the wedding of a close friend. The hotel was stunning, staff were extremely warm and welcoming, and the meal options available were delicious. The best part of the stay was the rooms themselves, very spacious with all the amenities you could need, and the beds themselves were divine, best sleep I've had in years
