Extremely disappointed with a 45 min wait for our main course. Fish supper with a couple of slices of whie bread not a big ask. We could have excused it if the restaurant had been busy but as it was less than half full this was not an excuse. It appeared that they simply forgot about us.
The hotel reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
The room was freshly decorated, clean and very comfortable.
The reception/bar area looked nice too although only there for a bed before an early nice.
Good parking at the hotel up to midnight on day of departure which was ideal for our day trip.
Short 5min walk to terminal too.
Will definitely use again.
This hotel and restaurant was updated and very nice to look at. The staff were lovely, however I felt that there wasn’t enough of them, they seemed to be covering everything; the bar, the reception desk, the podium to be seated for your meal and even serving. I really felt that the staff were trying their best but were run off their feet. I also had the feeling that the cook was on his own as well, it took ages to get drinks and every course; 15 minutes for ice cream. I cannot fault the staff though. One girl in particular was very attentive and helpful.
One thing I would say about the hotel, take your thermals! It was freezing! I sat shivering through my meal and it took ages to heat up in the room. It was very cold outside and there isn’t really any separation from the front door to the restaurant area.
We were waiting a while for food to be replaced at breakfast. We must have come in at the wrong time and everything was just getting put in the oven but, again I felt that perhaps it was because they were short staffed. I felt very sorry for the chef as there was quite a lot of people waiting and it must have been quite stressful for him, but he was very nice and professional and took it in stride.
Overall, I would stay here again but bring cozy clothes and jammies. I wouldn’t dine here again though, it’s not because it took so long but because I feel the quality of the food isn’t what it used to be. The meal was ok but i think I’d rather go out for food.
Over for a two night trip and stayed here. Great location only a five minutes or so walk to the Glasgow Express bus. Comfortable clean room with all facilities including free fast Wi-Fi. Great hospitality from the staff at the hotel bar and restaurant. Special mention to Duty Manager Scott. Really customer focused and an asset to the hotel. Ably assisted by his colleague John. Good evening meals and breakfast. Great value. Will be back on my next visit to Celtic! Thanks Scott, John and team!
Very nice hotel with a great location very close to Glasgow airport. The check-in was virtually automatic with machines but staff nearby if you struggled with it and needed help. All staff we encountered were friendly.
We didn't eat in the hotel, but the menu looked nice.
The room itself seemed modern and fresh, the decor of the room, corridors and bar/restaurant areas were very nice and looked like a refurbished had recently taken place.
