A very enjoyable & relaxing stay. Hotel is conveniently located for Pitlochry & the surrounding area and is close to several of the local 'attractions', including distilleries, the House of Bruar, Bruar falls, Queens view, Blair Castle etc..

Good access from A9 and located in a quiet area off a secondary road. Good safe off-road car parking.

Rooms are well equipped, very clean & well maintained. Good restaurant, bar & 'snug' lounge with excellent food and service. Staff are very welcoming & friendly. Weekend break dinner, bed & breakfast offer is highly recommended!

Stayed at this lovely countryside hotel when attending a nearby wedding. We had seen the hotel from the A9 and read reviews, so we were glad of the opportunity to give it a try.
The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for the 2 of us. Spa bath was a treat and the shower powerful with endless hot water. We had predinner drinks in the little snug and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. There was a splendid selection with delightful presentation. The food was very tasty and service excellent. Good choice of reasonably priced wines.
Breakfast was fine with a good choice of ‘hot’ options.
Overall we had a great stay ensured by an attentive and friendly staff.
Our only criticism was the all-pervading smell of food.
It assailed our senses from the moment we entered, even in our bedroom. Could the kitchen improve its extraction system?
If it wasn’t for this there would have been a 5 star assessment

Room Tip: Don’t be too close to the kitchen

Hi Ken. Thank you for your review. It was nice to have you both, and I am glad you had a great stay.

I am sorry to read of the smell of food, this is a new one to us, so we will look in to this immediately and take any action we feel necessary. Thanks again.

We booked this little nightstop on our way from Germany to The Highlands. We have 2 dogs and they were welcome also. We chose a superior double and thats exactly what it was. Cosy, roomy, super clean and good quality bedding, tea coffee & dog bowls & towels available. We booked in for dinner that night. Very quaint restaurant and excellent menu. Food, Drink & customer service is wonderful. We loved it so much we booked again for the return sector and were not disappointed. Breakfast is equally as delicious as dinner. A real find. We’ll be back soon.

From start to finish East Haugh exceeded our expectations! We arrived on Sat afternoon and we're greeted with an upgrade to the Red Drummond Suite as it was my boyfriends birthday! Gorgeous room and perfect for romantic night away! Thank you for making it special :)

Whilst we enjoyed our stay here - one of our all-time favourite Hotels -- it seemed to have lost that bit of edge that makes for excellence.
Our room was good, service and reception friendly, and the food was fine but not outstanding.
Atmosphere was lacking, a feature that had never previously bothered us.

Hi Shirlham,
Thank you for your feedback. Whilst it is great to read you enjoyed your stay and hold the hotel in such high regard, it is disappointing that you found elements not up to our usual high standards. I am unsure of the exact dates of your stay, however if you wish to discuss your stay further and help us to learn from this and improve, please send an e-mail to gm@easthaugh.co.uk.
All the best,
Steven
