“Wonderful pet friendly short break”
Reviewed 5 December 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Had a brilliant short break at Gean Tree, lovely cosy cottage with large log fire ( logs supplied) which dog loved. Cottage supplied with everything you need, very comfy seating and bed. Grounds lovely, so quiet and peaceful and no light pollution at night so lots of stars. We had the best sleep in ages and so did dog. Would definitely return would be nice to see the grounds in Springtime. Lots to see and do in surrounding area. Nice bottle of wine and glasses waiting for us on arrival, lovely touch.

Would love to see you both and dog back again! Spring and the daffodils or blue bells are amazing!

“perfect dog friendly cottage getaway”
Reviewed 6 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This is a magical place where your dogs can roam. Gean tree cottage is gorgeous and excellently equipped with real character. The swimming pool is not to be missed which is a stones throw from the cottage. Perth and Dundee are 20 mins from here and both have plenty of facilities and things to do. There is also a very nice eatery in Rait which you can walk to from the estate grounds. The estate staff were super friendly and welcoming. We loved this holiday and the cottage and estate were fantastic.

“So so”
Reviewed 18 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable cottage. However 2 main drawbacks: no possibility to be provided with breakfast - either you go by car to some place a few miles away or you must cater for yourself. Additionally there is total darkness, no lighting whatsoever, and reaching the cottage is rather difficult - even dangerous - at night.

Thank you for your review Antonella, we are a rural area and have no street lights and we are self catering accommodation, which means you have to supply your own breakfast.
