Lovely ancient abbey saved from ruin by the monks. Peaceful and tranquil way to spend an afternoon. Lovely walks around the gardens.

You walk up the path to the Abbey not totally knowing what you are going to encounter. You turn the corner and you see a beautiful picturesque building which sits within a farming landscape. I sat through a service and listened. There are service sheet available to help you follow and understand the prayers. Beautiful to listen to.

Peaceful place for quiet contemplation and a lovely stroll. You feel as if you have stepped into another century! Quaint little 'gift' shop where you can support the work being done to restore and maintain the Abber.

Very nice gardens and peaceful area. The history inside the main part is very interesting and amazing just how far back the history goes of the Abbey. Well worth a visit.
