“Wish it was my permanent home!”
Reviewed 5 June 2013 for a stay in September 2011

Beautiful apartment. Huge, bright, clean and enviable decor. We stayed with extended family for just a few nights but wished we could stay longer.

All our dealings with Michele and her rep in Edinburgh were swift, professional and friendly.

Highly recommended.

“Great place to stay”
Reviewed 9 May 2013 for a stay in August 2012

A group of us stayed here for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and everyone thought the place was amazing, it caters very well to a big group because it has so many rooms - not an easy find in Edinburgh. A couple of the rooms do have very high cabin beds so may not be appropriate for all but we just put the mattresses on the floor which wasn’t a problem. The quality of the furnishings are lovely and it's homely but without being full of stuff. There isn't a lift so be prepared to lug your cases up the stairs but that is expected when you are staying in a building such as this. The location was great, just a 10 minute stroll up to the main Fringe area and buses are very frequent if you want to get elsewhere. Michelle and Stacie were great hosts and communicated about any queries we had very efficiently. There is some street parking around the corner but I think it is permit so we dropped our stuff off and then went to park elsewhere - Stacie was actually very kind in allowing us to park at her uni residence but I guess that would depend on time of year etc. so be prepared to drop and park elsewhere. All in all a great place and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again if the opportunity arose.

“Traditional Edinburgh building, in a great location with modern enhancements”
Reviewed 20 April 2013 for a stay in October 2011

This building gives you a sense of history and yet it has been designed to give modern day comforts. The kitchen is a cooks kitchen and the bathrooms have a wow factor. Everything about this apartment is stylish and comfortable. It is also in a fabulous location, right on the bus line. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!

“Gorgeous, huge Edinburgh flat with lots of character!”
Reviewed 19 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

We were totally blown away by Michele's beautiful Edinburgh flat. Such a fantastic place to stay and absolutely huge. Every bit as beautiful as in the pictures. It's probably quite obvious that we really loved it! Also, great communication from the owner. We were fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves so only needed two bedrooms (I was there with a friend and my little daughter), but there is tons of space to spread out and two living rooms, so even if we had been sharing with others it wouldn't have felt cramped, although I probably would have felt a bit nervous if I'd had to put my three-year-old in one of the loft beds as they're very high (even if they do look like fun!). Nice little touches, such as a big toy box which kept my daughter very happy! I used to live in Edinburgh so knew in advance that the flat was in a really good location - walking distance to town and university, but also on a bus route with many regular buses, plus shops and cafes and a big playground at the Meadows nearby. I've already been recommending Epicurean Clerk to others. Hope I'll have another chance to stay there one day.
