“Great facilities with unexpected bonus farm activities for the kids”
Reviewed 27 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The lodge was beautifully situated with lovely views and a quite environment. We were impressed with all the free extras, not mentioned in the particulars: a welcome pack of eggs from the farm, binoculars, a games room, trampoline, boating on the lake, feeding the hens and collecting eggs in the morning and taking the kids off on the quad bike to tend the sheep.

A delightful place to stay.

Would highly recommend hidden glen holidays..stayed in kestrels lodge with husband and 5 kids who I have to say had a great time (collecting eggs, feeding lambs and the play area was brilliant . There are plenty places for walking as well as a row round the lake when passing by. The owners Peter and Therese are so friendly and good with the kids. All in all a really enjoyable time was had by all of us. Thank you for having us.

what an amazing place....complete peace ! the kestrel lodge was so big..so much room and completely child friendly...only a 7 minute drive to nairn centre so many things to see near by..my daughter collected the hens eggs..and bottle fed the lambs. I even had a nightmare losing bank card on holiday ..family who lived on and owned the farm couldn't do enough to help...can't wait to go back and see therese..Peter and Sam again. Also a lovely lake and rowing boat that can be used. fort george and landmark forest park also close by and worth a visit

“Wonderful family holiday”
Reviewed 22 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Hiddenglen. The lodge was spotless, very comfortable and well equipped . The view was amazing, so peaceful and we all loved watching the wildlife especially the deer and the wood pecker. The children aged 3 and 6 had a wonderful time. Therese and Peter went out of their way to make sure we all enjoyed our holiday and were so lovely with the children. They enjoyed collecting and grading eggs, rides on the quad and feeding the lambs. They also loved the trampoline, exploring and the rowing boat. Therese and Peter are also very knowledgable about the area and made lots of suggestions . The surrounding area has lots to offer from gorgeous beaches, lovely walks, cafes, restaurants and landmark adventure park only 35 mins drive. Hiddenglen is a gorgeous little spot where we enjoyed quality family time and look forward to returning,

“Doesn't get any better”
Reviewed 20 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We have family in Nairn so we booked the lodge at Laikenbuie so we could have a holiday at the same time as visiting relatives. It was the best decision. Upon arrival Mr & Mrs Muscus were both welcoming. friendly and helpful. The lodge was unbelievably comfortable and well equipped, from the practical things to games and books. We didn't venture out very early as we found ourselves very comfy and relaxed. The location is perfect for venturing out and about, we especially enjoyed the Whisky Trail with the Glenlivet Distillery standing out for us. Even if you are not a whisky drinker the process and history is fascinating. There are several towns, harbours, beaches and country fares all within an hour of the lodge with Nairn being 5 minutes away and Inverness about 20 minutes. I highly recommend the lodges if you are looking for a beautiful and welcoming setting. You can enjoy the amazing views and watch the local wildlife from the comfiest sofa we've ever sat on. The added bonus was the included bedding and towels and having a very quiet washing machine so we were able to go home minus the pile of washing reminiscent of a family holiday!!! Thank you for an incredible week, we will definitely go back.
