what a find. Feel must share what great holiday this is. From the time we arrived we felt so welcome and so relaxed. The owners are lovely and welcome you wormly to their home were they live, we were welcome to walk and explore all over hidenglen, and it was lovely. Also great for my 10 year old who helped therese get the eggs in the morning and went on a quad bike ride with peter one evening.
Also my 14 year old son loved it and enjoyed the peace and safety that hidenglen offers (didnt miss his ebox once). My 3 year old little girl keeps asking when can we go back to the wooden house, and it will deff be soon.
So with kids happy, as parents we got to sit back and relax and enjoy it for what it is, a truelly wonderfull place to holiday.
Close to many places to go out and enjoy for the day, with lots of recomendations from peter and therese.
Lodge lovely clean comfortable and lots of added extras, like electric blankets for the colder months, books, games and dvd's.
So what more can i say, go and enjoy you could not find better.

We stayed at "Treetops Lodge" for a week from 25 June 2011.
An organic working croft in a beautiful location 4 miles south of Nairn and within easy driving distance of lots of beaches and towns.
We are Active Grandparents in our 60s, couple in their 30s and children aged 6 years and 8 months. It worked for us because unlike most three bedroom properties all rooms and balcony were spacious and we had a large bathroom, ensuite and utility area.
It has taken us too long to write this review as we keep having to cull it down from a book.
In short, opened the door in the morning - out shot the "shy" 6 year old to meet up with any children about, leap on the trampoline, shoot past on her bike, collect tadpoles, play in the boat sand pit, slide down on the chute, feed a lamb, collect eggs - experiences to last a lifetime.

The baby - just started to crawl - great to have a lovely cot, high chair, all sockets with covers.

We will remember birds and red squirrels at the feeders, stock of wellies, waterproofs and bikes to suit all ages, relaxing, relaxing, relaxing.

Words we wouldn't normally think of using re a holiday - kind, considerate and thoughtful hosts, always available if needed.
