Myself, my partner and our 3 year old came to stay for one night but extended for another because we were blown away by the standard of service from some of the staff here! We run a three room inn on the Isle of Mull and generally find fault in service received around our area because the "can't do" attitude prevails! However, on arrival the Receptionist was absolutely wonderful! Our daughter wasn't well and she did everything in her power to make her stay comfy! The star of the show here is Natalija at the bar! She was family in a matter of minutes! She cheered our wee one so much so that we heard nothing but her name for the whole weekend! Good food and personal service abound in a very high standard hotel! We will come again and again and hopefully Natalija will come and stay with us! Extremely impressed and moved by the service standards here at The Cruachan! Thank you x

Only ate dinner here. Was very busy in the bar so had to eat in the restaurant which was pretty empty so not much atmosphere but could have been with more people. Nice menu and excellent food. Catered well for gluten free. Service friendly.

Room tip: Nice for a traditional type meal

lovely looking hotel but very busy and car park was all but full when we arrived. lovely welcome and excellent room. rather like a good quality travel lodge but the bathroom was spotless and ultra modern. Ate in the bar that night and food was perfect, lovely atmosphere and great service. All staff very polite and welcoming and keen to accommodate all our needs. breakfast was great but only think i would change is a better quality sausage at breakfast. wifi worked well. sat nav didn't find the location of the hotel which was a problem and would suggest travellers check on a map just in case!

Hotel was well situated (10 minutes walk from station), food was good and great range of whiskies but the room definitely needed a makeover. The bed was not very comfortable and was hot as if there was something plastic under the sheet. The bathroom also left a lot to be desired and looked shabby. Very old fashioned shower.
