This place has become part of our family tradition at Christmas. For years when our kids, now teenagers, were young we went to visit Santa here.
It is great for lunch or coffee and is a veritable Aladdin's cave of gifts, clothes and even has a big, excellent show shop.
You really must visit.

Went out for a morning walk and by the time we got there it was nearly time for them to stop serving breakfast but with 20 minutes to spare. Really looking forward to this... they didnt have much of a selection left fair enough but they were still advertising breakfast. Asked if they had any bacon left but they said no amd werent very helpful to offer an alternative. There was nothing wrong with the food just they could have been more accomodating.

Living locally, I visit Holm Mills every couple of years. Each time I hope for improvement but experience none. The shop is so outdated - what must visitors think! And full of low quality clothes and shoes.

The cafe does have a pleasant lounge area, but I was disappointed with my dry-ish scone and outraged that a single portion jar of jam is priced at 50 pence!

Thumbs down again!

Went for visit today and decided to go to cafe for cup of tea and roll (11:00). After waiting for about 10 mins eventually got served by what I can only describe as a very rude person. She took our order (1 X bacon roll and 1 X poached egg on toast) then we asked for 2 coffees. She got the cups out and then took our money - no please or thank you. Then went searching in bin for something and eventually poured our coffee. Sat at our table to drink lukewarm coffee and eventually food came after 10 mins by that time coffee finished. Poached eggs had been placed on top of toast with butter at side and bacon very hard. Will never be back!

I love shopping at James Pringle. Quality products and a huge range of stock at great prices. The staff are excellent, so helpful in every respect. The restaurant is good too, always enjoyed the food and service. The high tea on Thursday night is really lovely, the cakes are delicious. We've been shopping at Pringles for many years, love it.
