The landlord Craig was there to greet us and was very friendly and efficient. The flat was scrupulously clean and the beds very comfortable. Couldn't get over how quiet it was in the evenings. Lovely sunsets too over the river.Very handy for tube station and Transport and Kelvingrove Museums. Good to have the underground parking also.
We booked the apartment as a base during our visit to Glasgow for the commonwealth games. The apartment's location was in easy access to transport links to all of the venues, 25 minute walk and you are in the heart of the West End, 10 minute walk are you are in Partick, which has a fabulous array of shops , bars and restaurants. Morrison's, Sainsbury's & M&S food are also with walking distant of the apartment in the event that you wish to do your own thing.
The apartment itself was fantastically clean, spacious and very well equipped, Wi-Fi was also available, the location was tranquil and a great base to go back to after the excitement of the games and the buzz of Glasgow City Centre. Craig the owner of the apartment, was welcoming and incredibly helpful. The apartment is overlooking the Clyde and on a lovely evening the balcony is a great place to sit, relax and soak up the tranquillity and atmosphere with a glass of wine.
Craig provides you with a store cupboard along with Milk etc. and in the event you may have forgotten your shampoo etc. the bathroom has a stock of shower gel, soap and shampoo.
This is luxury, clean and fabulous apartment within a 45 minute lovely riverside walk to Glasgow City Centre for those with energy, for those less energetic you are within 10 minute walk to great public transport links to Glasgow and beyond.
