Stayed couple of nights at this hotel last weekend. Whilst it was very convenient for the city centre this hotel is badly in need of an upgrade. Rooms are tired and outdated. Still using shower curtains over the bath, where are the shower screens? Small TV not wall mounted and curtains were too short so they let in light early morning. The good points are the staff were really lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely dining room to use for breakfast. Food was lukewarm when we went to the buffet but probably our fault for leaving it till the last half hour to go for food. Would prefer to book the newer Premier Inn at Pacific Quay even if it is a bit of a trek into the city.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the lifts as they can be noisy.

Very good place, spacious rooms and very good food! The breakfast was great and had an evening meal which i have to say was brilliant, i had the curry and my wife had the steak which was cooked to perfection, my kids had a pizza and a burger which they both loved

Only issues was check in was delayed due to rooms being cleaned

This is not in George square either, its on gerorge street which is not far but makes a difference to your taxi dtiver,

Cannot complain really had a few good sleeps and my wife and kids enjoyed it as well, would definitely return.

Stayed here for a wedding at the registry office. They let me leave my car there for the day and I got a taxi in. Fantastic customer service. Room was lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend. Catered for my son who is vegan too.

The location of this hotel is a huge plus. It's only 5min walk from the Queen Str Rail Station. Get out of George Str exit & walk along with the traffic & you'll get there in no time. It is only about 1-2min walk to the City Chamber (266 George Str) which is the meeting point of most tours. The rooms are big & clean, and breakfast spread is good. Walking distance to Buchanan Str where the shops area. Quite a good deal given its excellent location, would be better if you can get it a flash sale, if you are certain of your dates. The hotel also has a in-house restaurant Thyme (the breakfast place) which is good if you get back late & do not want to head out further to get food

Room Tip: Ask for the quiet zone
