Just here for one night, but you can't really beat location, facilities, customer service & value for money - nice to be able to book a single room rather than pay for a double despite being on one's own, as with so many hotels these days. Breakfast very good indeed with many options - fruit compote delicious - & nice to have butter, jam etc served in small dishes rather than butter still in wrapping, jam in mini jars etc. This is now my hotel of choice in Glasgow & I look forward to my next visit.

The hotel and room were spotless. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was top quality and plentiful. Free cakes 24 hours a day.

My only criticism is the lack of secondary glazing in the room. Although we were never cold, there was a substantial draught which could be felt when in bed and the noise from our street-side room was loud enough to keep you awake till about 2am and then again from 7am when the builders and binmen started work.

Room tip: I expect a room overlooking the station would be quieter at night.

Had an overnight stay on Saturday. The Hotel is on the sixth floor of the Caledonian Chambers Building, literally a two minute walk from Glasgow Central Station. The Hotel is spotless and the girls at reception couldn't be more helpful. Our room was a bit on the small side, but totally adequate for an overnight stay. The location couldn't be better, slap, bang in the middle of the City Centre with all of the amenities within walking distance

Nice atmosphere, perfect location and very nice people!

At the 6th floor of a very central building, right above the station. Warm welcome and nice room, with a great view.

The price is high for the style of the place, but I had a very good time and I would come back

This hotel is amazing. The room is beautiful, with super cute wallpaper and design. The staff is so nice and accommodating. The location is perfect! 5-20 minute walk to literally anywhere you'd want to go in Glasgow. There are complimentary baked goods out for your enjoyment, along with water, tea, coffee, and mulled wine (yum!). There was an adorable restaurant/kitchen, which we didn't have time to eat at, but it looked (and smelled) great! We just loved our stay at the Grasshopper. We would recommend it to anyone and we will definitely stay again!
