Lovely little restaurant situated in Glasgow’s west end, cosy eatery with friendly enough staff. Being a regular at “fine dining” restaurants used to being served small portions for a lot of money. The lambs sweetbreads were excellent but even for me I found the portion inadequate for the price, my wife came to the same opinion about her starter of scallops. Next to the main both chose the halibut, excellent piece of fish completely overpowered by the numerous additional strong flavours, citrus based fennel and raisins? All in all disappointed after reading all the revi

I've been to this restaurant a few times now and the food is absolutely up there with some of the best food I've ever had. It is absolutely stunning. I was confident enough to take my dad, who is extremely hard to impress, and for the first time in my life I saw him finish a plate of food. I was absolutely shocked, and not only did he finish his starter, he went on to finish the main and desert. He absolutely loved the food and the wine selection and claimed it was the best meal he had had in many many years - which is a big statement from him. The salmon is so delicately stunning, the scallops are so fresh and work amazingly with the corn-flavours and the chicken. The beef is completely melt in the mouth and the duck is to die for!! Both fish dishes are absolutely stunning too. The raspberry and honeycomb desert is a beautiful finish.
This is definitely my favourite restaurant at the moment and the service is also the best I've ever received.

Came as a family group.
Seated on the upper floor.
Staff were quick, jolly and cheerful. No complaints.
Food was tasty, but quite expensive for what was given.
Wine and alcohol spread was extensive.

We had a lovely Saturday afternoon here. As residents of Glasgow and self professed food lovers who frequently enjoy eating out, there are a lot of new 'hip' and 'trendy' restaurants opening all the time all over Glasgow but this wee gem is not to be overlooked. The overall experience is miles better than some of the other places.

In short:

•Menu is sublime, lots of choice and beautiful partnerings.

•Food is delicious, but NOT pretentious.

•Great value for money. (Really reasonable two/three course deals.)

•Fantastic service the waitress was welcoming, friendly and knowledgable which made us feel instantly relaxed.

•Great choice of wines and lovely whiskey menu.

•Atmosphere is perfect, great ambiance.
