“countryside home from home (and some)!”
Reviewed 7 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Just back from a lovely stay at Bag End. The house is lovely, set within approx 15 mins drive from St Andrews and Cupar. From arrival, we were met with kind hospitality from the owners who made themselves available if needed, but never intrusive. The house itself is spotless and very well equipped. The decor is very unique and interesting, comprising the owners collections of art pieces. An appreciated extra was an extensive DVD and games collection, which was a real hit with our son, (aged 8). There is also a brilliant play area with a fort, swings and slide, as well as a large outdoor chess board. The setting is rural, and is accessible to many areas by car. We visited Dundee, St Andrews, Cupar, Anstruther and Elie to name but a few, and all within a very short drive. Our son enjoyed Muddy Boots play area and Barbarafield Riding School. Would highly recommend this place to stay, and intend to return ourselves sometime soon.
