We had a fantastic stay in Andy's flat. Andy was the perfect host from start to finish. He's very approachable, very helpful with parking suggestions and restaurant tips and quick to respond to any query.
The flat has been very recently refurbished to a high end boutique hotel standard. It's been beautifully decorated and very stylishly furnished - great colours, quirky touches, well chosen posters and artwork, with a delicate nod to its location in the form of some contemporary tartan cushions and curtains. There are lots of books and games, flat screen TV with DVD player and a bluetooth speaker for playing music. It's a complete home from home.
Unusually the three double bedrooms are all generously sized and the main bedroom is huge. Beds are incredibly comfortable.
The flat is quiet and cosy with a log burner and the windows have both shutters and thick curtains.
Very well equipped kitchen and large contemporary bathroom with big rainhead shower and freestanding bath.
There were really welcoming touches like fresh flowers, fruit and some basics for the fridge.
The location of the flat can't be beaten. William Street is one of the loveliest streets in Edinburgh with interesting boutique shops, cafes and food options. The whole of the city centre is easily walkable from the flat and the tram stop which connects you to the airport is just round the corner. You are on Princes Street with a view of the castle in moments.
There's part of me that would like to keep this flat a secret! We've been to Edinburgh many times before staying in rentals and some great hotels and this is the best place we've stayed in by far.

I was amazed and delighted by this accomodation! Whilst retaining the luxury of a 5 star venue it oozes charm and character. The decor is at once homely and sophisticated, and the attention to detail superb..quirky furnishings, luxurious scottish weavings and fantastic original art works! also a bath with legs i was delighted!.The location couldn't be better, a quiet, old time feel to this street yet a short walk away from some fantastic little boutiques and the bustle of princess street. great pubs on the same street and a lovely deli. Its the nicest location i can imagine in edinburgh and very handy, we had a fantastic stay.

The William Street snug was perfect for my weekend in Edinburgh with friends. Bang in the centre of town on one of my favourite Edinburgh streets (great pubs, cool shops and cafes) and full of unique character. All the rooms were luxurious without being OTT, beds and sofas were all super comfortable. Gorgeous bathroom with the best shower I've ever experienced, I wish I'd had time for a bath cause that was massive! There were lots of quirks and interesting details, including some great artwork on the walls.
Beautiful flat, beautiful location. Highly recommend this place.
