We just completed a nine-day stay in this apartment and found it to be everything we had hoped for. The location is superb, only a few minutes walk from Princes Street and from there it is easy to get to the Royal Mile, museums, and other places of interest. We found lots of restaurants in New Town within a short walk of the apartment. Being so close to the city center we expected noise to be a problem and we were delighted to find that it was extremely quiet, especially at night. The kitchen is well appointed and supplied so preparing food was easy. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a comfortable home base for a visit to the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
A truly lovely apartment , spacious and very central to Edinburgh city center. The apartment ticked all our boxes for a very comfortable stay with my husband and two adult children .
Many thanks to the owners and oversees Willie and Keith who showed amazing hospitality to us by extending our stay due to flooding in other parts of the UK. Thank you both very much , your Scottish generosity will not be forgotten .
The apartment was so much larger than we expected with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable couches and a nice dining area. The location was perfect with access to a beautiful communal garden, close to many restaurants, cafes and public transport. We had everything that we needed , all in a perfect location. Highly recommended; we would not hesitate to return.

My friends, husband & myself decided to rent this flat for a long weekend in Edinburgh. It proved to be a great decision. We were able to have lazy mornings & return to a warm cozy base after we had finished exploring. The flat is 10 mins from Princes St and we found 3 good restaurants within a short walk. Karens Unicorn, the chinese next door is not to be missed.
The flat is very well equipped, comfortable & well kept.
We can recommend the Open Top bus tour to get a good overview of the city and the Royal Yacht Britannia is fascinating at Leith docks.
We will definitely return to this flat next time we visit.
We felt totally at home in this well equipped apartment. The wonderful features, high ceilings, cornicing and large windows are so wonderfully typical of a traditional Newtown flat. This was exactly what I was hoping for and the location was perfect.
