As it was my Step-sons birthday in April we all decided to have weekend away and go shopping at the Gretna Gateway Village it was great time away and the Staff where great at the Days Inn Hotel couldn't have been more friendly we had the continental breakfast and the we nipped over to the service's had everything we needed and we also went to the Hazeldean for dinner if I was going back I would try other places to stay and yes we visited the Old Blacksmith where people get married loads of Tourists

Adequate for an overnight stop. Beware if your are disabled and not travelling with your partner. All disabled rooms have a double bed. Not much fun for a crew who cannot afford a second room. Please some twin bedded rooms

We got a luxury room for the same price as a standard after I bought it last minute. We were only stopping one night there on the way to the Highlands, and one night on the way back home. The staff were friendly and were nice enough to collect a forgotten phone charger for us, which they kept safe behind the desk until we checked in to go home. The downside was that the jacuzzi in our luxury was broken. Loved it for a stop though as the room had everything we needed.

Room Tip: If you want a luxury room definitely buy at the last minute.

The bathroom has been significantly upgraded with the installation of a walk-in shower and the removal of the bath, which is so much bettter. Apart from the extractor fan not working, the bathroom was great. The room itself was clean and tidy as expected. The receptionist was very welcoming. Free wi-fi worked well and was much appreciated.
