This is a great cottage from which to base yourself during a visit to argyll. Loads of space, reliable wi fi, cosy, stunning views across loch fyne, and everything you need in the house. Welcomed with a lovely, and very refreshing, gift and the house contains a wealth of information about the local area. Do not miss a trip to the loch fyne oyster bar or a meal in the fantastic George hotel, especially if you like whiskey. We also followed the beaver trail walk which is a stunning walk through incredible landscapes. The only small issue with the location is that for a night out in Inveraray at the George hotel you need a driver. However, we got round this by having an earlier meal before heading back to the comfort of the cottage where we had drinks whilst enjoying the view over the loch. If you purchase a bottle of local produce from the whiskey shop in Inveraray it's more than worth it. Highly recommended.
Lovely, spacious, impeccably clean house with comfort in mind. Only downside was the plumbing which, to be fair, the owners tried to get sorted and even found a plumber at 6.30pm on a Sunday. It still wasn't fixed when we left but the plumber was returning so, hopefully, all will be well now. Views are awesome and there's plenty to do in the immediate vicinity to keep you entertained. Don't miss Loch Fyne Oyster Bar if you like seafood and Loch Fyne Brewery if you're into real ale. The brewery also has a small herd of Highland cows close by for those interested, and sell their meat from the freezer. Argyll Adventures are nearby for people seeking pony rides, bungee jumping, archery, etc., and Crarae Gardens were spectacular.
