Run down and dirty booked or meal with stay 4 choices on menu fish arrived with grease soaked plate horrible breakfast was good blood on pillow case and what looked like sick on curtains carpet was filthy definitely would not stay agian charging 5 star prices fir a one star experience

Great location and lovely, lively hotel.
The positives:
- Nice, clean room.
- Gorgeous view of the sea from our room - I was so delighted! You are literally on the water.
- Fantastic location right in town, close to everything
- Restaurant staff was LOVELY. They were very busy yet extremely accommodating.
- Have a coffee shop open all day, plus a great restaurant.
- Dogs galore. This is a positive for me, but may not be for others. It's a dog friendly hotel and I was surprised (but delighted) that dogs were in the eating spaces. Others may not feel the same.
The negatives:
- Our room was SO hot. We had to open in windows which made it difficult to sleep with road traffic.
- Front desk staff was not very helpful. We would ask questions and get met with blank stares and shrugs.

Another great stay at this hotel ! We stayed as a large family and this hotel manages to cater for us all ! My elderly parents had the corner room with sea view and they could rest in their room and enjoy the view! My daughter and grandchildren stayed in one of the excellent family rooms - very spacious and comfortable for them. Breakfast is delicious and even though the weather wasn’t great we were able to enjoy family time in the lobby and in the lounge - also brought our dog which is an added bonus with this hotel ! The staff are great and a special mention to Christine and her team on reception and Josh in restaurant !

We had a really enjoyable one night stay here in a spacious and clean family suite. The location is right in the centre of town, staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was very good, especially the Guinness wheaten bread which was heavenly!
My only constructive criticism would be that it would help to have a bath rather than just a shower in the family suite, and that parking should be included for hotel guests. We used the hotel car park and had to fiddle around with the app for ages before it would work, and it cost £6 which I think should really just be included for hotel guests.
Thank you for your amazing review, am very glad to hear that use had a pleasant stay with us in the marine. We strive to make the guests stay as comfortable as possible. Am sorry to hear you didn't like that we had no baths. When we done the renovating back in November unfortunately all the baths were removed from the hotel. As for the carpark, unfortunately we the hotel do not own the carpark, it is privately owned. I hope this doesn't put you off from visiting the hotel in future.
