Great apartment in ideal location for the many restaurants around the Quay and an easy journey to the city centre. The kitchen could have been slightly better equipped but the welcome pack was very useful. Almost perfect with lovely views.
The apartment is very nice and has a good and very (family) friendly location, near the Cardiff Bay (and it is cheap to take a taxi to downtown). I especially loved the balcony and its beautiful view over the river. The only reason the apartment doesn't get 5 stars is that there are a few things that might be better for it to be "luxury", for example better furniture on the balcony. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this apartment and I would stay there again.
This is a lovely apartment that is very spacious. Kitchen is well equipped but could do with some more cooking knives. Some were missing and one had a broken handle which could be dangerous. Bedrooms lovely with loads of wardrobe and drawer space. Bathroom could really do with a shower over the bath. I am surprised that the bathroom does not have a shower. There is a shower in the master bedroom but not really suitable for 4 adults to share. We asked for the air bed to be put up but this had not been done when we arrived and we were told that we could put it up ourselves. There were 3 air beds but one must have had a puncture. Must admit I did think that the air bed would be like the ones you get in John Lewis which are the same as a normal height bed. The air beds were just air beds. Useful to know as would not be suitable for an elderly person.
Views from balcony are great and nice to sit out with a glass of wine.
Disappointed that the pool was not open apparently it has been shut for a month due to a leak. Would have been nice if we had of been informed as I got soaked walking to the concierge to gain access just to be told it was closed.
Would stay here agin as it is a great apartment.
We were blessed by beautiful warm spring sunshine. First-floor apartment is in a block within a gated condominium development by the Taff about 15-20 minute walk from city centre and 10 minutes to Cardiff Bay area, but on a bus route linking both. We found local private hire taxis cheap and reliable. Nearby, a well-stocked licenced supermarket, and an excellent fifth-floor restaurant (Y Dosbarth) is just up the road - expensive, but well worth it at sunset! Cardiff is most certainly well-worth visiting - the city is compact and full of interest, and out-of-town attractions varied and with good facilities.
