I spent 5 nights at The Barn with my partner and two young kids (3 and 1) in July and had such a lovely time. The Barn is a lovely, big property with everything you need and more! The living area and kitchen is large so the kids had plenty of room to play, plus there is a huge yard outside for kicking a ball around and playing outside which was great. Situated in a beautiful area, with plenty of walks and trails for young and old. All in all a great stay. Would recommend to family and friends.
There were four of us, but the place sleeps 8, with four bedrooms and three full baths and even heated towel bars! Newly renovated and gorgeous. Loved the complete laundry room. Views to die for. One of my friends did a lot of cooking, and seemed to find all the pots and pans he needed. Be warned that The Barn is down a one lane road (about 3 miles) which can be a bit scary. The place itself is wonderful and I'd definitely recommend it to friends.
We stopped in the barn as a group of 6 women and couldn't have asked any more from the place. The barn is beautifully converted and set in beautiful scenery. It was close enough to Brecon to not feel over isolated yet far enough to be right in the countryside. The beds were really comfy and the showers lovely and strong. We really enjoyed our stay and shall certainly return.

The Barn at Treberfydd is beautifully designed and newly converted. The spacious kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for our large group and the kitchen was really well equipped. All of the bedrooms have a bathroom en suite (some are shared) and the beds are extra deep and super-comfy, with beautiful linen. The showers are powerful which is a huge plus! Our group was a mixture of couples, singles, babies, toddlers and dogs and there was plenty of space for everyone, a covered table tennis table outside and plenty of storage. We were lucky to have incredible weather and we spent most of the time eating outside in the sheltered courtyard which is dog-safe and has plenty of space for parking. The Barn has excellent "green" credentials with its modern geothermal heating system and this part of the world is spectacularly beautiful and peaceful! We climbed up the Beacons for incredible 360 degree views and walked beside the lake admiring sailing boats and swans. The main house at Treberfydd is stunning too.
