Plenty to do and see, local pub does good food with friendly staff and atmosphere, you ca just relax, go for a boat ride, explore the sites.

It's worth a special trip to see this aqueduct: a canal boat channel running more than 150 feet above the Dee River Valley. You can also cross on a walkway next to the channel, unless you are subject to vertigo. The visitors' center includes artifacts and history as well as souvenirs, you may buy a ticket to ride in a canal boat, and there is a cafe nearby.

Lovely area, not good for those scared of heights though. Good pubs either end and good walks nearby

It is no wonder that this is a World Heritage Site, 200 years on Telford's work is still awe-inspiring! An added bonus is that the whole site is wheelchair friendly too, but you do need nerves of steel!
