I think we met the owners or managers when we took a wrong turn and ended up in their driveway, very pleasant, advised us it was the next turn along and the house was all ready for us. We didn't see them again until we left, felt it would have been nice for them to come and see us and introduce themselves perhaps give us some information on what was available to us or not etc. But it wasn't a major hassle we found our way around. The Farmhouse itself is set in a very quiet location up the hill, vies are beautiful though overlooking the fields out to sea. We watched the sun set as we ate our dinner from the dining room. The accommodation itself was very basic, bit of modernisation needed here and there - but clean and everything worked. Very spacious and bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for the 9 people we had there. We weren't falling all over each other. Slightly bigger fridge would be helpful especially when the farmhouse holds 10. Also mop and bucket may have been handy, we couldn't leave the place as we would have if there had been one there. The villige had a little park, a spar shop and a garage. You would definatel need a car as the closest place with anything like shops is about 10 mins drive. Caernarfon about 15 mins. Beach about 10 minutes, but beautiful, pebbly, wide open with miles to walk, with some little beach cafes and gift shops. We had a lovely time. I would recommend this to some anyone that wants a good value base to stay and explore this part of Wales. (these are hopefully constructive comments).
