We stayed here as we did Zipworld at Bethesda and we had left it too late to book anywhere closer - although this only took about 20 mins to drive from there. We had a massive family room which was great although one of the kids beds was like rock and my daughter didn't get a very good nights sleep. Location is excellent, parking was I think a fiver for 24 hours. Really close by is a massive Morrisons with a cafe in case you want breakfast, but also restaurant / pub nearby at the marina. We decided to walk into town for breakfast though and its a lovely stroll along the front with smashing views. We ate in a small cafe with views of the castle - Caffe Maes and would recommend.

On way home to Ireland after long car journey from Kent. Did not book a room for the night. Came across Travel Lodge. Clean, comfortable room with all the basics. Cheap too, so great value Very friendly and most helpful staff (special mention Linda who was exceptional).

Room Tip: Book on line, lovely town

Stayed in this travelodge recently although our stay was lovely, the room was big, clean and the staff were friendly, the layout of the hotel was odd, the reception was on the first floor. It felt as though we had gone in through a back door but that’s the only negative really. Close to food outlets and the harbour and castle. Beautiful place to visit, parking is in a public car park which is £5 for 24hrs which was absolutely fine, would recommend this hotel

The twin beds were the narrowest we have ever seen. Turn over and you fell onto the floor!!
Although we had been booked in for three nights we left as soon as possible the next morning and the staff couldn't give a damn!

The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean with comfy bed and pillows.
The shower was disappointing as we had problem adjusting the water temperature.
Located close to shops and castle.
Pay and display Car park close by.
