“DELIGHTFUL COTTAGE WITH A FRIENDLY WELCOME”
Reviewed 19 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days at the beginning of September.
On entering the cottage our thoughts were how spotless and airy it was with 2 lovely bedrooms one of which had a very modern shower en Suite.
Coupled with was the glorious views from any room . In fact sitting in the garden on a sunny day was a delight.
Well off the beaten track this cottage sits between Worcestershire and Herefordshire so is well placed to view the many attractions. Our favourite being the Seven Valley Railway and the Elgar home and museum.
The owner (Louise) was very welcomimg and seems to generally like meeting people without being intrusive.
She is also an animal lover and has taken in "rescued" horses and dogs and even some of the lambs are tame.
The animals never intrude but if you are animal lovers like us you are more than welcome to make a fuss of them. The horses in fact are very gentle and loved being fussed and fed.
All in all then a lovely get away from it all holiday and highly recommended .
Oh yes and the WIFI was excellent. I even watched sky Sports on my tablet!!!!

“Absolutely fabulous accommodation”
Reviewed 5 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Louise was very helpful and provided good online service. When we arrived the cottage was the cleanest I have ever found in a holiday let. immaculate. We walked around the farm walks and picked our own plums from the orchard. Actually had 2 good weather days which completed a perfect break.

“Warmth, Roses and Animals”
Reviewed 14 November 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Well organised and a perfect rural retreat with warm, friendly hosts and farm animals. Great views and close to picturesque towns and villages. Climbing roses were a special treat.

“a slice of paradise”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We have just had a completely enjoyable and restful stay at Faraway Barn. A superb accommodation in a very beautiful and tranquil setting, amazing views all around, a delight even on the odd wet day.
Russell and Louise are extremely friendly and accommodating, we could not have wished for better hosts. Thoughtful touches, like cake on arrival and fresh flowers from the beautiful garden.
The farm also has many animals to enjoy - giving it altogether a unique atmosphere.
Round about are many places of interest, the drives there offering the most magnificent views.
Highly recommended!

“Such a lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 14 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This is a real gem, if you love animals this is the place to be. The two hens who roam free love to be talked to and fed. I fed the horses who are partial to polo mints and carrots. The owners have rescued border collies, they are great dogs with lovely natures. It is in a very good area for visiting lots of counties, we went Shropshire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire, the welsh borders. Worcestershire itself is beautiful. The views from the barn are fantastic. Louise is very friendly, and made us feel welcome. Fresh flowers from the garden that smelt lovely, and homemade cake that was very tasty.
