Sunday night stopover with my wife. Our deal meant we had a three course meal in the restaurant, which was very nice. Special mention to Abigail on reception, who couldn't have been more helpful. Good location too.

Overnight stay in Leeds at the Malmaison with friends. Arrived at lunchtime for cocktails and left after decent cooked breakfast Clean and comfortable as you would expect, but both refreshment activities marred by dreadful ' ambient ' background music played through a sound system which sends the bass straight through the bench seating, which runs the length of the bar and restaurant. Random shooting vibrations did not improve either the drinks or the food, and at one point the music stuck on one grinding note for so long we all wondered if the CD was broken. All of this, combined with the fact that people who can afford to stay at this hotel are closer to their pensions than to a garage rave, would make me recommend the hotel to adapt their music-or better still shut it off. If music there must be, then send for an electrician to rewire the stereo. Oh , and fix the espresso machine as apparently that's broken as well.

The location is excellent for the centre of Leeds. The room was a very good size, clean, modern and quiet. The bar is good with a good range of drinks. The food was good with a wide range available, and breakfast was nice, again with a good range to choose from.

Went in on Tuesday afternoon for a meeting like lunch wine and coffee minimum staff coffee cheese wine over 20 minutes to arrive bread 35 minutes little apology the service is appalling this used to be one of my favourite places in Leeds for meetings and a quick snack but sadly not anymore asked to speak to the general manager he was in a meeting little response lack of interest.

I took my husband, daughter and grandson to the hotel for dinner for Father's Day.My husband and I stayed in the Hotel. Our room was perfect. Nicely Furnished and very quiet, everything you wanted was available. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and had a fantastic meal. All four of us had three courses, the food was excellent and so was the service. We would not hesitate to go back either to stay or just to eat. You made Father's Day for my husband and he has not stopped talking about what a great time he had. So a big thankyou to all of the staff especially in the restaurant, hope to see you again soon. Room Tip: We stayed in 307 it was a very nice quiet room, really comfortable bed
