Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. It perfectly located close to train station and not far the main shopping areas. The room was clean and staff all very helpful.
We payed £30 extra per day to use executive lounge- this was an excellent deal. We had great breakfast, snacks and drinks there. Well worth it.
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because there is not enough information about parking on the website. We manage to find the ncp car park close by but would have like more details prior to our journey.
Also we had problems with the aircon in our room - first night the noise coming from it kept me awake. The noise was sorted after reporting it but the aircon did not blow out any cold air for the rest of our stay.

Dear Andy E

Thank you for your review and feedback on the information regarding car parking options at the hotel.
We are in the process of reviewing the website information.

We are looking into the air conditioning but thank you for highlighting this to us.

Please let me know when you will be staying with us again in the future and I will ensure a problem free stay.

We hope to welcome you back to the Leeds Marriott in the near future.

Kind Regards

Stayed here for one night on business. The hotel is located in the centre of Leeds, so can be hardwork getting to if you are heading there around rush hour. There is no parking at the actual hotel, but there is an NCP car park just a short walk away. Check in was quick and easy and the foyer of the hotel is very impressive. The room I thought was pretty average. The décor was old, but the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The Wi Fi wasn't free, and this really annoys me. Hotel chains such as premier inn / holiday inn / jury's inn ect all provide free Wi Fi, but the Marriot doesn't, and they charge £12.00 for 24 hours access. We didn't eat in the hotel, but as mentioned its in the middle of Leeds so we went into the centre for dinner. Breakfast was really nice and check out was quick and easy. If staying in Leeds again I wouldn't return to this hotel.

Firstly, the hotel itself is ok. The room was clean and well equipped and staff friendly.

However the very central location is not conducive to a good night sleep! We have been kept awake for most
of the night by revellers! This isn't really the hotels fault but it does mean that I would definitely not recommend or stay again. The Crown Plaza 10 minutes away is much quieter and of a similar standard.

As you stated Leeds has a very vibrant night life and we are situated right in the hub of it. We do try and meet everyones travel needs and people often choose us for our location.

Please book directly with the hotel and we can put a request on your profile to ensure you get one of our courtyard rooms which does not face the main street.

We do hope we get the opportunity to welcome you back to our Hotel in the future.

Had to queue for almost half an hour to check in, with other staff just walking about.

However....the rest if the visit was very good. Great room, fantastic breakfast, all for a very good price.

Great for those getting in to Leeds train station, only 5 minute walk, and easy to find.

With so many boutique and design hotels in Leeds, it was only last minute availability that lead me to the Marriott. On the plus side, great location and cheap valet parking... But the hotel is in dire need of an update - very dull, tired room and bathroom, and entirely unacceptable in 2015, a very expensive fee for Internet access.
