We honestly could not have asked for more. A spotlessly clean property with lots of extra touches that made us feel welcomed and relaxed as soon as we got through the door.
Right in the middle of Chichester with off-street parking and all the local shops and restaurants just a minute or two walk away.
The owner provided all the information we needed for our stay and we had a great time. If we can, we'll book here again without hesitation.
We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay in Chichester at the Clock House. What can we add that hasn’t already been said, except a big thank you to Rachel for all her careful attention to detail that makes this such a special treat. Flowers, essential provisions, quality toiletries and information packs greet you on arrival at this immaculate home in a lovely part of Chichester. Rachel is helpful and on hand if needed, but otherwise the setting is private, cosy and quiet. Lots to do in walking distance or with a short drive into the countryside. An excellent choice for a short break..
Absolutely delighted with our stay at The Clock House - the perfect hideaway. Close enough to all shops, cafes, restaurants & places of interest yet tucked away in a quaint cobbled street with the added bonus of parking. Rachel, our host, was available if needed, however, the accommodation was so well equipped and a very helpful information booklet was to hand with plenty of tips and advice for where to eat/drink/visit plus answered any queries regarding the property. Wonderfully clean and comfortable and only wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Rachel, a superb restful holiday
Beautiful luxury cottage tucked away in a quiet square but just around the corner from the Chichester City centre with its many shops and restaurants and the historic Cathedral. Its also a stones throw from a lovely Priory park with a great cafe called Fenwicks. Rachel thinks of everything to make your stay perfect with many thoughtful touches, fresh flowers, delicious pastries, juice milk, luxury soaps body lotions and scented candles.
The courtyard outside is very quaint and pretty for outside dining with little lights. Rachel was in contact to say hello and check if we needed anything and also gave us lots of advice on places to visit and eat.
We stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing after busy days and evenings out to come back to the comfort of the Clockhouse ..better than a 5 ☆ hotel. We enjoyed it so much we cant wait to go back again.
We spent a lovely long weekend celebrating our anniversary at The Clock House. It's very close to the centre of Chichester, very handy for wandering around and shopping but sufficiently Off The Beaten Track to be nice and peaceful. It is also close to the city walls which made a lovely walk. The proprietor couldn't be more accommodating and the additional treats provided were much appreciated. Would highly recommend and would stay there again if visiting the area.
