Arundel castle is a must visit if you are travelling in the area. The gardens are well kept and a joy in themselves, the castle historic and there is plent to see, even the children would be impressed.

Arundel Castle is beautiful.. I would recommend going to see the annual Tulip Festival - gorgeous colours .
My only criticism is the price , it is rather pricey just to walk around the grounds !

Visited the castle April 29th as wanted to see the tulip displays. From the moment you arrive there are beds and pots full of colourful tulips, they are everywhere and were stunning. I had read a review that said there weren’t many but that person cannot have spent the time looking around as there are many small, medium and large displays as well as numerous pots and smaller groups. We enjoyed the glasshouses and vegetable patch and the lovely scarecrows. We also paid to look around the beautiful castle, we managed to climb up the steep and narrow steps to the Keep, enjoyed the state rooms and had a snack in the restaurant. Despite the grey and cold day we had a super time at the castle.

We didn't get to see the tulips in Holland due to poor health so decided to visit here as not far from home ; Beautiful gardens .loved seeing the old fashioned veg garden .brought back lovely memories and the tulips were amazing ; so well thought out when planning and all planted by hand ;the castle more of a stately home now but interesting to see the old parts ie; the keep.staff and volunteers most helpful and attentive ;

Always great to look round. Better when weather is nice as there are some lovely gardens to walk round which is a must while visiting here. Castle has some steep and winding stairs in places. Lovely castle to visit. Very near to Arundel town which also looked nice but we didn't stop there just passed through.Facinating castle and gardens. There is a good restaurant and clean toilet facilities.
