My friend and I enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at the Park Regis.
It's a beautiful place to visit and I wished we were able to stay there!
Everywhere smelt clean and fresh.

The processco bubbles were a perfect addition to make our afternoon tea occasion even more special.
The afternoon tea was one of the best I've ever had.
Sandwiches were fresh and the bread soft, so obvious they had been made up specially. Fillings delicious.
The cakes were utterly delightful with one even having edible gold flakes on it (I kid you not!!)...the only other place I've been to that did this was The Ritz in London!
The tea was refreshing and a fresh top up was offered too.
Service was friendly and efficient.
Overall a lovely afternoon out - I would thoroughly recommend!

As always the staff in this hotel could not try any harder there is a limited food service due to Covid restrictions but they give it everything they have to make it work. One the down side they do not challenge non mask wearers in lifts or other public non seated spaces.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. We were delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. Due to the Covid restrictions our full menu is not available, however we have our full bar and Afternoon Tea menus in place.

All of our team are fully trained on the procedures on masks and we have masks available for our guests. It is rare for our guests to not follow the guidelines, however when they do we will also approach them.

Many Thanks

The interior of the hotel is very nicely designed. Although a personal quirk is that I would like to be able to choose to have a bath if I want one and you can't because they have been removed in preference to just having showers, however elegant and large the bathrooms might be.
Our deal included evening meal with wine but the restaurant was closed and we had to eat in the bar with very mediocre food.
Lots of excuses for mediocrity because of the virus. Very average breakfast and insistence that we use plastic cups for tea and coffee!!!
But the staff were very nice indeed.

Good location at the end of Broad Street, spotlessly clean, good sized and comfortable room. Staff are top rate. I was phoned the day before our stay by Lilly who explained all of the Covid arrangements, she was very chatty and asked the reason for the stay (which was for my wife’s birthday and when we checked in she bought a personally written card. Also Paul on reception was very helpful when we handed our breakfast order in late, he was so polite and caring. Really impressed and will stay again.

Room tip: windows give a great view

We had a wonderful stay at Park Regis - the hotel is beautiful and our was room lovely, immaculate and spacious. All staff we met throughout were so welcoming and helpful. We have stayed with Park Regis prior to a 'Covid world' and must say all measures that have been put in place made us feel safe yet equally did not make our stay uncomfortable or strange. It was a pleasure throughout. I would also like to personally thank Lilly, who has been extremely helpful with our reservation.
