The hotel have been excellent throughout the covid situation. Our original booking was for 8th June and the hotel very kindly transferred our 2 rooms to the 11th July.
Our emails and phone calls were answered promptly and professionally.
Thank you to Anca, Alex and Carla.
A very special thank you to Christina. Exceptional service from check in and looking after us for food and drinks.
Our rooms were spotless. Hand sanitiser available every few meters in the public areas and tables in the restaurant cleaned regularly.
We were told there was a limited menu but we found it tasty and good value.
An excellent stay in these new and weird times!

We stayed at the Ibis Styles prior to our early morning flight. Upon arrival we were met by a receptionist and check in to our room. We were not told whether the restaurant was open or closed! The room was small but big enough for an overnight stop over. No Tea/Coffee or TV remote in the room we had to ask for these. We went out to look for a pub
to have a evening meal but due to Covid 19 we decided to opt for a takeaway, we were unable to sit in the empty restaurant area so had to eat in our room. All in all the hotel was basic given the hotel has being closed I was disappointed to find a sweet under the bed and stains on the carpet. Sorry but I will be giving the Ibis Styles a miss next time!

We got off the train from London. Could already see the hotel. Light rail to the airport and we were more or less on its doorstep. Walked the wring way around the building, so it took four minutes instead of three to get there. Later went to the airport and found that was even closer than the light rail station. Great convenience.

The Ibis and Ibis Styles seemed to be in the same building, with some shared facilities but, presumably, different qualities of room. We were in the Styles and it was very comfortable. Lots of space in the room, including enough to re-pack our bags before the flight. Thriving restaurant downstairs. Pleasant decor throughout.

Hardly dealt with the staff. Check in was smooth and efficient. Check out pretty automatic. Will stay there again next time we fly from Birmingham.

Stayed at this hotel on Friday night, travelled up to Birmingham to attend Bear Grylls adventure at the NEC, the hotel I book initially was awful so looked for a last minute hotel, telephoned the IBIS at 22.30, and they offered me a room and a discounted rate..! So helpful and so easy to sort out.
Arrived at the hotel, reception staff very helpful, quickly booked my wife and I in and we were in our room within ten mins.
Very good room rate, very close to the NEC, car parking is easy at the hotel, costs £10 additionally to the room rate.
Room was decent, very clean, and comfortable, tea and coffee in the room.
Breakfast in the morning was very nice, buffet service good selection.
Quick and easy check out, I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are attending the NEC.

Stayed here last weekend to attend Crufts at the NEC. This hotel is perfect if you are attending a show here or if you are staying the night before a flight. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the back of the airport. There is a continental breakfast offered from 4am and a full hot breakfast from 6am to 10am. There are scrambled eggs but you can ask for poached or fried eggs. There are also sausages, bacon, beans and a variety of cereals and fruit. Rooms are clean, ours also had a sofa and there was an iron and ironing board and also a hairdryer in the room. There was tea & coffee in the room and soap/shower gel in the bathroom. The hotel also offers a lunch/dinner menu and also a full bar. The only negative would be that it needs to be better signposted when you are making your way from the airport.
