Could of been a lovely stay..but it wasn’t friendly at all.. the woman behind the bar would prefer to answer the phone than serve she came across very miserable .. not much food to choose from. And the locals just look and give u dirty looks. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Never had a bad meal at The New Inn & their carvery is always top class.
Last minute decision to eat out with the outlaws, no problem with the New Inn, despite being busy they are always most welcoming

We were staying for a week in a cottage nearby and popped in here for evening dinner. The meal was good 'pub grub' standard with a varied menu and we had no complaints. The service was excellent and all the prices very fair. Later in the week we returned as they offered us a 'two meals' for £15 voucher. Very happy with all aspects of the place, clean and airy décor, comfortable seating, not noisy and just what we wanted to help us enjoy our Stratford area holiday.

Everything spotlessly clean with a grade 5 hygiene certificate on display.  Free parking on site with easy disabled access.

Here are the basics; Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open all year. Seven days a week. Usual pub hours. Toilets clean. Allergy contamination control. Allergy staff product knowledge. Warm and cosy.

We will be back and unreservedly recommend to others.

I hope this review is helpful and if it is a quick click would be appreciated. Thank you.

Room tip: We only used the restaurant.

Rooms very small and very dated, no WiFi available in the rooms only in the bar area. I think the mattresses on the beds have had better days too. Staff seem friendly enough , never eat in the restaurant but seemed busy every night.

Very comfortable friendly hotel. Great staff.
Nice food, Cauvery gets very busy especially on a Sunday. Bar small but friendly.
Short drive from town & good place to be situated to visit other places ie Wooster, Gloucester lots of lovely villages nearby.
