Pros
- Perfectly sized flat. Not too small to feel like you are being squashed into a tiny space or too big to feel scared
-Louise(the owner) was so organised ,she made a booklet with all the information about the flat
and the area nearby( Emergency contacts, user manuals, transport info, restaurant recommendations ,etc.)
-Louise was always happy to answer any enquiries and sort out a any problems immediately
-Massive beautiful garden+Tranquil surroundings=Awesome place to relax
--Utensils are provided so there isn't need to bring any from home
-Although Westcott is situated in the countryside, it only takes you 37 minutes to get to Guildford by bus.And the bus stop(Balchins Lane is only a 3 minute walk from the Garden Flat)
- Three restaurants( 2 pubs), a bakery and 2 convenience store (one included a post office) within a 10 min walk
-Excellent service with personal touch
Louise took my daughter and I for a walk with Sassy (her adorable Golden Retriever Labrador)
Mr Scillitoe-Brown offered to allow my daughter to use his mobile phone as a hot spot when the wifi stopped working (but the wifi came back on after 10 mins)

Cons
-The bees and the flies keep buzzing all day long
It would be a great idea to install some insect door/window screens

“Quiet, attractive unit in a quintessentially English location.”

We stayed in the Garden Flat for ten days and enjoyed every hour here. The kitchen looks out onto a typically English garden leading down to a lake and the North Downs beyond. There are great walks literally at the bottom of the garden past the farms and forests up into the hills. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Our host Louise couldn't have been more helpful, with a cake, tea and fresh milk waiting for us on arrival. Make sure you catch the 6.30 pm fish van on a Saturday night. Best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Will certainly be staying here again.

“Perfect for our visit to family and friends”

We were welcomed by a fresh loaf of bread and farmhouse fruit cake, milk and tea, so we enjoyed a real British tea, most welcome after living in the USA for the last few years.
This flat is a gem, a little hard to find if you don't know the area, but close to shops and places to eat, easy reach of train station.
There are many walks and places to visit near by including Polesden Lacey and Petworth House, two local National Trust properties.
Having the flat gave us a place to relax and unwind. Perfect for a couple

“Very friendly, charming, and welcoming stay”

I have booked this cottage for my parents for 2 weeks over the Christmas period. They have been delighted with the stay. The place is well-looked after. It has all the accomodoties you wish for, plus the help and welcoming of the owner.
The spacious, well-equipped kitchen, allowed my mother to cook us lunch (4 people) on new years day using the ingredients of the local farm shop down the road.
The whole cottage is very nicely decorated. We couldn't use the garden because of the very poor weather but the view was great.
I would defenitely recommend this cottage. I also would like to say a big "thank you" to Louise.

“Beautiful views, lovely accommodation & everything you need in a holiday let”

The accommodation is located in a lovely spot facing out onto the Surrey downs in a beautiful garden setting. Clean, modern & really well presented self-catering property. Lots of thought put into the small details - every time I thought " if only there was a...." I found it in a drawer or cupboard! Great instruction folder covering everything from how to use the appliances to the local eating establishments. Swing and slide in the garden which my daughter loved. Walking distance to local village where an excellent bakery and great pub are located plus small convenience store for all the necessities. Many superb walks straight out of the property with no driving required. Can't recommend enough.
