This is a normal Premier inn that has only been recently built in Bury St Edmunds. It is very near the main town and the abbey gardens and within easy walking distance. It is a bit more expensive that the normal P. I. but with a free car park with plenty of space and being near the town you get the little extra for free. The breakfast and evening meal in the hotel are good but you are so near the town you can eat out in a different restaurant every day.

Great location and easy parking. Check in was slow. Room was big and comfortable. The shower in the bath was difficult as the bath was so narrow. but cleaning questionable as we found a pair of a previous occupants slippers under the bed. Breakfast was a bit cold and the fried eggs were rubbery.

This is an excellent, modern hotel. Superb location and parking for the town-centre.
The staff are pleasant and efficient and the rooms are very comfortable. The beds are outstanding!
Good quality food at reasonable prices.

From here it is a short and pretty walk to the Abbey Gardens. The entrance to the hotel car park is tricky to find by satnav alone, but adequately sign posted if you look out for them! We didn't eat at the hotel as there is so much choice nearby.

We stayed here for four nights (my old office is Room 114). All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had dinner here on the first night and we were very disappointed. The food was not well prepared and very badly presented. Everything about our room was fine and the air conditioning was essential as there are no opening windows! We only had breakfast on our last morning -one full English and one Continental. Unfortunately, although it was only 9.00 am, they had run out of some items, e.g mushrooms etc. Don't let this put you off! Bury St Edmunds is beautiful and this Premier Inn has free parking and is an easy walk from the town centre.
