What a fantastic cottage. When we stayed at school cottages we thought that was as good as it gets. Well this is as good possibly better. Great location excellent refurbishment of an old cottage. Superbly maintained by Tim, Nigel and family. An absolute pleasure to stay here.
Lovely village with a great local pub.
One major complaint - Tim's mum's jam was missing

My partner, 7 month old daughter and I have recently returned from a refreshing break at East Cottage. Beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, child friendly with all baby essentials inc highchair, changing mat, baby bath and cot etc making our stay stress-free.
The kitchen has been furnished beautifully with the latest Bosch appliances and marble effect surfaces.
The lounge has been kept traditional to the cottages age with a large open fire, wooden beams and cottage furnishings - very comfortable.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the main bedroom is comfortable and the decor very tasteful. The bed comfortable and warm - wardrobes and drawers for storage and original fireplace (not for use) in the room.
The second bedroom would be ideal for 2 children or a couple of adults - we had the travel cot put up for our daughter and found it comfortable for her. There is a separate sink unit in the second bedroom also.
The bathroom again kept to the cottage decor and very very clean. There is a bath and shower and plenty of freshly/clean towels in the airing cupboard.
Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience staying at East Cottage and would definitely stay there again. The break we have just returned from was our first break away with our daughter and I'd like to thank East Cottage for making it all very easy for us.
The breakfast hamper from the award winning local village shop available is also worth going for! The bacon and sausages are delicious! We managed to make our hamper last over the three days!
We had dinner one night at The George (a two minute walk from the cottage) and I have to say the food is fresh, with plenty of variety and all homemade.
It's a good base to visit many places within Somerset we visited Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, Glastonbury and Cheddar all within a 45min radius.
This stunning cottage is ideally located to visit the many attractions of Somerset including Wells, Bath and Cheddar. The cottage has everything you need and it's decorated to an exceptionally high standard and is impeccably clean with lovely bedding and comfy beds. Only a couple of minutes walk away is a great pub which is friendly and serves great food. There is also an award winning village shop selling local produce.
