We really enjoyed our stay in the Nooze Cottage, Sleepy Hollow. We had everything we needed in the cottage and Cath and Trev left a little welcome (cake) which was lovely. We are looking forward to returning next year....

“Excellent Cottage!”

This is the second time we have stayed here and once again we had a lovely, relaxing holiday. We were given a warm welcome on arrival & once again there was a fruit pie in the fridge together with milk to make a refreshing cuppa. We were very lucky with the weather which meant that we were able to go off on day trips, but the cottage is well equipped with a tv, video, radio, books, games etc., to keep you amused. Also there was a good wifi connection & we connected two iphones & a tablet with no problem. We will return!

“A beautifully tranquil place to stay.”

We booked Sleepy Hollow last minute, through holiday lettings. The aim of the trip was to get away from it all and switch off our minds for a few days.
Sleepy Hollow delivered, big time! Set in a little hamlet, down a country lane, the cottages are perfect for anyone looking for some quiet time. We have two young children, so a place where they could play in safety was high on the priority list. Sleepy hollow has a large lawn and each cottage has it's own little outdoor area. All of this is contained within the grounds of the property. Meaning we could allow the kids to play without worry.
The owners, Trevor and Cath, are warm, caring people who strike a great balance between being helpful and giving you your own space.
Finally, there is a pub, the other side of the village if you fancy a walk and a pint, but also Glastonbury is only a few miles away. Even the coast is only an hour away. We drove to West bay for fish n chips one evening and were back for bed time.

I can't recommend this place enough! If you are reading this and considering a stay, do it!

You won't regret it!

What a great review! Thanks so much. We are so pleased our cottage met your requirements of safe and secure outdoor play areas for young children, and that you were able to appreciate some quiet time, but still found plenty to occupy everyone.

We came down from Newcastle for a few days for a quiet countryside break and this lovely cottage was perfect for that. It's beautifully furnished and decorated inside, long walks in the beautiful countryside round the village. A very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable spacious bedrooms, a brilliant clean bathroom with shower/bath and perfect safe parking for motorbike. Everything we needed, we had a great time. We feel fully rested and would definitely come back again.
Thank you!
