Owner description: A beautiful 18th-century landscape garden featuring the Palladian Bridge, which is magically sited on a scenic lake with sweeping views of the city of Bath.

An amazing place on the outskirts of bath. You can walk from town up the hill-(Quiet steep) but worth the walk. You can also get a bus to drop you off at the top. You can walk around the grounds and gardens. A shame the house is not available for you to look around. Ideal to take a picnic with you. Recommend a cream tea when your finished.

a fantastic landscaped valley running down from prior park in combe down to widcombe at the bottom
steep walks but well laid out take your time and you will be fine
wonderful palladian bridge at the bottom with 3 interlinked ponds great for photos. when you get to bridge there is a tea stop where a reviving drink can be obtained from friendly staff, even has a brazier so that in the winter one can keep warm
one of the paths ties in with the bath skyline walk if one wants to go further.
there is no parking, park in bath and get the bus. do not park in residential streets around the site, there is rarely any parking and grumpy neighbours!
good way to spend a few hours

We visited this garden during the bus hop on hop off skyline tour. You can walk down through the garden and come out at the bottom close to the next bus stop. Be warned it takes 5-10 minutes to walk from the exit to the bus stop! The garden is very pretty and has a nice coffee shop at the bottom.
Very well kept.

This is my 2nd visit to this lovely park, very picturesque. Be warned though,as the hills are very steep if you are unsteady on your feet. The volunteers are very helpful.

Looking for a quite walk? This is it. The Palladian bridge is as good in real life as it is in the pictures. If you an go, I'd recommend it. It's a little out of the way and takes some time, but very nice.
