The staff were friendly and welcoming, the environment was relaxed, clean and tidy. The room was just what I needed, clean tidy and well maintained, everything worked. The breakfast was as expected from this type of hotel, self service, the food was hot and I could’ve filled up for the day with it, juice was good and the coffee was, surprisingly great.

The Travelodge at Bath Waterside is in a great location. Wherever we were in the city, we seemed to only be about a 10-minute walk back to the hotel which is great if you want to spend the day seeing what the city has in store. We stayed in a SuperRoom which are great and offer a bit more of a premium feel - would highly recommend for that little bit of extra. The Bar Cafe is a great place for a couple of drinks before you head out for the evening and for a nightcap! I would highly recommend this Travelodge.

We stayed at the Waterside for 3 nights. Comfortable rooms, breakfast average- nice and hot- would have preferred a choice of eggs, they only have scrambled.
Perfect location. Easy reach of the city centre and next to the canal if you like to walk. We walked up to the George Pub (took about 55 minutes but its all flat, and caught a water taxi back, The Sir John Knill boat, very relaxing.

We stayed at the Travelodge for a weekend in Bath. Parking was challenging - but we managed, and the staff could not have been more welcoming. The rooms were Travelodge standard - but clean and tidy - if you wanted a trouser press, you wouldn't be staying in a Travelodge would you? There were several hen parties in residence and the man on the desk (Jaris - recommend him) kindly put us at the other end of the hotel. There are two sorts of breakfast, a bar, and a restaurant - not that you would need it as city centre Bath is not 10 minutes walk away. Perfect location for evening walks along the river.

Only managed to get a few hours sleep due to the noise from outside the hotel, mostly traffic. The bed also felt bowed in the middle and the pillows were really uncomfortable. We have stayed in Travelodge in the centre or Manchester and Southampton and have never had issues with outside noise, I’m a heavy sleeper so can usually sleep through anything, but this was really noisy. We were so shattered the next day that we came home early.
Plus sides - good location and lots of parking, staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Really disappointed as we often use Travelodge with no problems but will reconsider in the future.
