My husband, daughter and son-in-law stayed here in May, when we visited Bath. It was not hot at the time, so we did not experience any weather related troubles. The hotel is an older, stately building but lovely and with an elevator! Our en-suite room was small, clean and sufficient, and it overlooked the railway station, which was very noisy at night. The food was pleasant enough and pricey, but not overly special.

Thank you for your review following your recent stay with us. I note that you found your room which was at the front of the building a little noisy and may I therefore suggest when you next visit that you ask for a room at the rear, which will be quieter.

I am surprised that you found our food a little pricey especially as we offer a set price menu option of 2 courses for only £10.95 and 3 courses for £12.95, in addition to our wide ranging a la carte menu.

We look forward to seeing you again.

Have stayed many times. Opposite the station and a few minutes level stroll from the centre of Bath. Lovely reception staff. Breakfast good. On a busy junction so road-facing rooms can be a tad noisy, but it doesn't worry us. We'll be back with our loyalty card. :-)

From the initial booking phone call, to the final checkout, the staff were all extremely helpful and polite, however busy it got. The room was just what we were looking for with a bath to rest weary limbs. The bistro offer for guests was also very welcome and worth every penny. As for location, there are none closer to the rail and bus links and with mere seconds walks to the main town access also. All in all a great short stay in a very well managed hotel.
