I'm not religious in any way but felt a warmth and welcoming at this Abbey.

The stained glass windows are vibrant with colour and it is quite bright inside. The structure is wonderful carved stone. The masons of the day were true craftsmen.

There is some serious history here as this Abbey has been around since the 10th century and although they ask for a recommended donation, it is actually free to visit, if you so wish.

Definitely worth a visit.

Popped in whilst staying in Bath, breath taking inside with plenty of informative areas. Beautiful stained glass!

Managed a visit to the Abbey when I was in Bath. It really is beautiful and visitors can walk round it freely. There was a rehearsal taking place for a recital which made it all the more special. We only had 30 minutes or so in there but wish I could have spent more time looking round, and there are guides if you wish to know more who will answer your questions.

This is by far one of Europe's most amazing churches. The doors are more than 40 feet high and the interior is unique.
