Stayed at Fishmore Hall for a one-night stopover, en route to a holiday. This is a very smart country hotel, with large, well equipped and nicely decorated bedrooms. Food was very good, particularly the excellent breakfast in the lovely bright garden room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of car parking and a great location. Definitely recommended - we will stay here again without hesitation.

Amazing!!. No sooner had we stepped through the front door we were given such a friendly welcome . All the Staff for the duration of our visit were friendly and helpful
And nothing was too much trouble. We were in a beautiful conservatory type area and it was So relaxing . The food was wonderful - an array of tasty morsels and sandwich treats followed by two scones with clotted cream and gorgeous strawberry jam & some little cakes which were quite unique - no slabs of fruit cake or dry sponge here!
Also many types of tea or coffee to choose from. Please do not confuse afternoon tea with lunch - you do NOT get great big thick sandwiches and Greggs style sausage rolls ( no offence I love Greggs sausage rolls for lunch) because it is not a main meal it is a different eating experience altogether.
Thank you it was delightful and a lovely birthday present.

Lovely location and ideal to combine with visit to Ludlow.

Had table in conservatory with good views of surrounding countryside.

Experience was lovely from start to finish. Imaginative menu. Some dishes served on grey slate. All food freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Excellent service from staff - a real credit to the hotel.

Getting to the hotel for the first time was confusing as there were lots of signs saying the road was closed. Fortunately we ignored them and access was no problem. We had a two night stay along with our dog. It was a great joy. Check in was friendly and easy and we were shown to our room on the top floor. It was huge with an enormous very comfortable bed. Little touches that mean a lot were provided. Even a dog bowl and treats were already in the room. There was no air con but a large fan helped. The lift seemed to work for everyone but me. I am sure the exercise did me good.
There is a large breakfast menu. The full breakfast was lovely but the highlight of the stay was the taster menu for dinner. Eye wateringly pricey but for a treat not to be missed. It featured nine courses, each of them memorable ( the pigeon was superb)
After retreating full to the brim the quiet location in the Shropshire countryside ensured a good nights sleep. our two nights went far too quickly and I was sorry to leave
