Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 - with double bed Bedroom 2 - with single bed Living room (with small double sofa bed) Kitchen Bathroom The bedrooms are light and beautifully decorated providing all your required home comforts. The original iron fireplace has been retained as a feature in bedroom 1.The living room has comfortable seating together with dining facilities. There is a double sofa bed here also. There is satellite freeview TV with a DVD player and free internet wifi. The original fireplace, again retained as a feature, has been converted to take a living flame gas fire. The modern fitted kitchen has integrated refridgerator with small freezer section, electric oven and halogen hob. It also has a microwave oven and a washing machine. In the bathroom a modern shower unit has been installed above a roll-top bath. Hot water is provided on demand to the bathroom and kitchen from a combination gas boiler. Outside - there is a small enclosed gated garden area with patio and a footpath to the rear gate. The patio with table and chairs which is a sun trap and provides an ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine following a day spent sightseeing. The cottage was bought because it is exactly the kind of cottage in which I would be delighted to spend a holiday - cosy, well modernised, in a quiet area close to the centre of Ironbridge with some great walking on the doorstep and right next door to the oldest pub in Ironbridge, The Golden Ball, serving typical pub grub. I’ve run the holiday home for a while now & my philosophy of a "would I be happy to stay here" test has always been my guiding principle. My aim has always been to provide visitors with a comfortable home from home as a base from which to enjoy a great holiday in this beautiful part of the country.

Perfect
We spent four nights in this delightful cottage. Everything had been thoughtfully provided, the colour schemes tasteful and every comfort catered for. We have no hesitation in recommending it. We do hope to return.

Beautiful little cottage
Such a gorgeous cottage. Lovely welcome tray with tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. Milk in the fridge. Spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and lovely big towels. Very central location. We didn't need to use the car whilst there as most things are within walking distance. Worth noting is that there are some pretty steep ups and downs on the streets, but that is the nature of Ironbridge Gorge. We would definitely recommend this property.

Victoria Cottage Ironbridge
Lovely cottage we enjoyed a 4 night break, it had everything we needed and is just a 10 minute walk downhill to the centre of Ironbridge, it also has a small enclosed courtyard where we enjoyed breakfast and after the sun had set a relaxing drink. Would definately recommend and stay again.

Gorgeous little cottage
Perfect location. Fabulous walk into town. Ironbridge is stunning. Great niche shops. Tasty Pie shop in the centre too. The cottage had a warm open fire, comfy beds. Immaculate kitchen and throughout. The pictures don’t do it justice. The sofa has been updated to a nice leather one that turns into a sofa bed. Nice games for the children to play and books to read. Will definitely recommend. Great communication from Rachel the host. Thanks for having us

Probably one of the best Air BnB properties that we've stayed in. Perfect location, a short stroll into Ironbridge. Spotless, homely and comfortable.

Dissapointed
Just back from a 3 night stay here. The cottage wash spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and a nice shower but I have to say that the furniture was really uncomfortable. All 3 of us could not get comfortable even using cushions and pillows from beds. Just glad no one had to sleep on the "sofa bed" as unless you were about 8 yrs old you would be struggling. No mention of the bathroom/toilet being downstairs at the back of the kitchen or we would not have booked here. Negotiating the top 3 steps were tricky too, having to descend them sideways being the safest option. I do not like leaving negative feedback(see my other reviews) but the above ruined our stay.

I’m very sorry you were disappointed, the double sofa bed is quite small thus why we advertise it for one person only :)

Excellent location for Ironbridge and surrounding points of lnterest
We visited as a couple to explore the history of the area. Within easy walk of the Ironbridge and centre restaurants and shops. Easy off street parking 30 seconds walk along the road. Nicely presented period cottage with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very well equipped, comfortable and clean and very quiet. The owner, Rachel, provides a wealth of information and is close by if help is needed. We would have no hesitation in returning at some time in the future.

Small cottage but perfectly formed
We had a great stay in this lovely cottage which is very well equipped and in a perfect situation for Ironbridge and the surrounding area. Our dog was also very happy as there are lovely walks on the doorstep and a small but safe and enclosed yard at the rear of the house. Rachel was helpful sending us full information beforehand and a message to check that everything was ok when we arrived. There was a welcome pack with milk etc and lots of information leaflets and a local map. The museums in the area are fascinating - we particularly enjoyed the Victorian museum and the China one at Coalport where the processes for the china production were demonstrated. Lots to do here and highly recommended.

Charming and comfortable
Victoria Cottage is a charmingly decorated and comfortable cottage just a few minutes walk from the Iron Bridge. The kitchen was convenient and well equipped. Parking was available just steps away. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

Wonderful home from home (But nicer!)
We had a fantastic stay at Victoria Cottage. It’s a gorgeous place and Rachel has gone to great lengths to ensure a comfortable stay. The cottage is in a great location for the town of iron bridge, local pubs and restaurants and all the Iron gorge museums and attractions. The cottage is beautifully equipped with everything you need and decorated to a very high standard with high quality furnishings and soft furnishings. Even the towels and bedding are of the highest quality. There is a Well equipped kitchen. Rachel was alway quick to respond to all our questions prior to our visit and was fantastic in accommodating our needs. I would maybe suggest it’s not ideal for those with mobility problems as the stairs are a bit steep and the only bathroom is upstairs, saying that my father managed fine. There is a comfy sofa bed that we utilised too in the living room. We had 4 adults and a small child stayingin the cottage and although it is a small cottage we didn’t feel too cramped at all. We will definitely be back to Victoria Cottage and soon!
