Contempory hotel with comfortable rooms. Stayed here one night when we needed to be in Reading for the evening. Very convenient for this purpose as there is an underground parking facility at the hotel. We stayed on the Friday night and it was free of charge. The centre of Reading is a simple short drive away. So great location!

The room we had was a double with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. There was a large picture window looking back out across the front of the property and the adjoining Kennet Island properties, which made for a pleasant view.

Breakfast in the morning was served buffet style with hotplates for the cooked options and help your self service.

Nice hotel in a splendid location

Check in was smooth and efficient, and check out equally as easy.

I have stayed here twice in the last two weeks and in this week for a three night stretch. The biggest take away I had was that every single staff interaction I had was superb. The room was very comfortable as was the big bed.

Shower was good, lighting in the room had many options and room service arrived quickly. I did not use the health facilities although I will the next time. To get a five star rating the WiFi sign up and speed could have been easier and better and breakfast was ok but the hot food eg eggs were a bit overdone and on one day missing.

Attended a charity function with friends. Tables were squished together like sardines and waiting staff kept bashing my chair at every opportunity. One person kept reaching over me completely invading my space to gather plates. At one point he had his sweaty elbow in my face! Disgraceful service - when I challenged him about his behaviour he ignored me and walked away. Totally uncalled for and extremely rude I’ve had better service at a drive-through! Not the standard I would expect from this recognised brand.
There was no one overseeing the staff for me to speak to. It was clear to me he was definitely hurrying to finish his shift which is why he did not have the common decency to engage in any form of conversation or at least apologise for his appalling behaviour. I have no idea if he spoke any English but he was completely devoid of any manners.

Whilst dancing I had to avoid the large gaps on the temporary dance floor. I had to be very careful not to trip or fall as the gaps were wide enough for heeled shoes.
How ridiculous many ladies did not dance as it just wasn’t safe.
Who erected this floor? Surely it was checked before the event? How can this be safe?

If you are planning an event or wedding here you have been warned.

The Manager who was available at the event received compliments for the evening but unfortunately, we were unable to come up to your expectations. The dance floor is used in many events and we make sure it is connected properly to avoid any incident. Myself & my Family are one of your regular and loyal guests. We are ever so grateful to all those who always take care of us in the best possible manner.

I would like to mention these members of staff especially.
Miss Natalia, Miss Rose,Miss Carol,Mr Sentiago & Petronella.
As they always go above and beyond for us.
Ever since i started visiting here since 2009 I am always surprisingly impressed, As they are constantly improving.
I can easily say that this Hotel & it's staff are one of the best in Berkshire.

I would like to personally thank Manager Mr Richard. He always makes sure we are taken care of. Especially with my Son's & Wife's Allergies & special requirements. He is indeed too kind.

Mr Mohammed F&B Manager is very welcoming,cooperative & caring. Food is on the mark, everytime.
He along with Mr Malcome & Miss Liyah,Miss Stepheny are always conscious & very cautious of our Dietary requirements.

100% Excellent Feedback from Myself & my Family.

Local to Reading and our first visit to the Hilton. Came for a charity ball in the Windsor suite and stayed overnight in a king room. Nice room with big, comfortable bed and nice facilities. Could do with coffee machine on the room though.
The function was very good and the staff throughout the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. The bar could do with a better selection, particularly when it comes to gin.
Very nice breakfast in the morning and a very nice stay. Would visit again.
