Stayed at this wonderful B&B for two nights with a friend. Our host (Stuart) was incredibly warm, considerate and knowledgeable and the property was absolutely gorgeous! It was absolutely surreally charming and I would highly recommend staying here, it was the highlight of an amazing trip. The B&B incredibly centrally located, so we could easily walk to both the shopping and the colleges, but still quiet so we could sleep. Breakfast (included) was top notch - Stuart was happy to make breakfast daily to order, and was very flexible about time and menu. The B&B is also very close to some charming pubs and restaurants. Check in and check out were a breeze. Stuart is also a local tour guide, and is incredibly knowledgeable about the town and its history, as well as the surrounding area. We went on his tour, and he was also able to give us some great pointers about what to see and when -- the Oxford visiting schedule is impenetrable and not even followed, even when it is online at all, so a local is essential to see anything.

My wife and I stayed here recently for two nights. Stuart and Carrie are fine hosts, and were very helpful and friendly. The B&B is located on the quiet end of Holywell Street, with very little traffic. As one of the last remaining B&Bs in Oxford, it provides simple but comfortable accommodation and is very convenient to many of the Oxford colleges, especially New College and St. Catz. Although we didn't have time to do a walking tour with Stuart, he seems very knowledgeable about Oxford (having grown up in Oxfordshire) and I'm sure one of his walking tours would be great. Breakfasts were fresh, ample and healthy. The availability of off-street parking is a definite plus.
Communication was good from pre-booking through arrival and departure. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Holywell B & B for two nights while visiting our daughter at the university. It's a really pretty little terraced house, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and Stuart the owner couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt with a choice of cooked options, and the off street parking is a real bonus for central Oxford. My only criticism would be that the room was rather hot, and because of the night time storage heating we were asked not to turn it down. We opened the window, but being right opposite New College there was quite a lot of noise from late night student revellers! Still, this was a relatively minor issue and we would definitely stay here again.

What a find this was great room, very very clean, lovely shower room, again spotless. Had a really good sleep. But wait, down for breakfast which could not have been better. Cereal fruit toast jam marmalade and then the breakfast a 5 star hotel could not have done better. Try it out you will not be disappointed,

Room Tip: Nice at back with good view
