Fantastic short break here. Definitely want to return as so good. Accommodation was brilliant and had great views. Children loved the animals being so close. There was plenty to occupy the children on our chill day with walks and play areas, Good location for days out and brilliant for attending my nephews wedding at Inkersall Grange.

Room tip: Robins Den had great views

We booked really last minute after our usual go to places were fully booked & thank goodness they were as we have found something special here!
Value for money is fantastic, clean is an understatement (always take lots of cleaning products with us but they honestly weren't needed at all, the place was spotless), literally thought of everything, all the little touches make it perfect. The location is stunning!
The layout of the Upside down house was great, so spacious & the kids loved the spiral stairs down to the bedrooms.
Our daughter who is 4 was in her absolute element with the animals & the park/games room & our 12 year old enjoyed it equally.
Not to mention the Pony pampering session they got to do which was free of charge!!
The Indian takeaway recommended was absolutely delicious (just book well in advance as delivery was 2hrs but so worth the wait).
Wheelgate Park was approx 10 mins drive (if that) for something to do as a family!

It's been one of the loveliest little getaways and we are excited to return ( already looking at dates to re book).

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

What a fantastic weekend we had being the first ones to stay in the new lodge! All i can say is WOW!!! everything was perfect! Had all we needed for a fab weekend. The beds were comfy in spacious rooms! Not 1 but 2 bathrooms! 1 with a massive bath the other a wetroom! Fully fitted kitchen! Lovely living room! Spacious courtyard! The beautiful scenery not to mention the horses and goats which we were able to go in the fields with! Could not have asked for anything more! Cant wait for our next visit! THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR CREATING SUCH A FAB PLACE AND FOR MAKING OUR STAY PURE PERFECTION X

We have now stayed twice at Fairview, the first being in Poppy Lodge, great accommodation and everything you could possibly need from towels to washing up liquid. Noticed when I visited in May it had now been fitted with new decking.
Most recent stay was at the Sherwood Lodge.
One double bedroom but huge with walk in wardrobe. 2 leather couches and ample dining for 6 either inside or outside on the wrap around decking. Two fridges and a big cooker if you choose to use it.
It even has it's own paddock, fire pit and superb views of the countryside.
There is a sheltered playground which I thought was okay, but our granddaughter aged 6 said it was awesome, so I'll take her word on it.
Fairview is only a few minutes away from a number of hotels/restaurants and I would highly recommend it for a relaxing break.

What an amazing weekend this place was def a good find.We are quite local & just wanted a little weekend away after the year we’ve had with covid. Our boys loved it and have never shown an interest in horses before but now they want their own haha! They enjoyed feeding them and brushing them and it made their day when the lady gave them a little badge for doing it.we stayed in the maid Marion lodge which was perfect for the 4 of us and we loved how it had the big grass area so the boys could play who let we sat and chilled with a glass of wine. We will defiantly be visiting again
